These MDF skirting boards are foil-wrapped in a veneer of real wood and designed to cover the lowest part of an interior wall. They are primarily used to cover the gap between the wall and floor, but also add a decorative touch to the interior. Additionally, they help protect the walls against kicks and scuffs that can be caused by moving furniture. Skirting boards can be fixed in place either by using screws, nails or strong adhesive glue.
